1. Boat ride at Lake Pichola
Lake Pichola is one of the oldest lakes in Udaipur, dating back to the time of Mahrarana Lakha (maharaja of Udaipur). It was constructed by Picchu Banjara (architect of the lake). Later another Maharana of Udaipur, built the Udaipur city on this lake, just because of its beauty.
About Boat ride from Lake Pichola to Jag Mandir:
Jag Mandir is an Island at Lake Pichola, and many travellers plan a boat ride from the Lake to this island, which is also known as Lake Garden Palace. Here you will get to see a good view of Udaipur city.
The architecture of Jag Mandir will definitely fascinate you, as this is a 3 story island built in the center of the lake, And it has Garden Courtyard, Gul Mahal ,Bara Patharon ka Mahal and Darikhana.

2. Boat ride at Fatehsagar Lake
Fateh Sagar Lake is named after the king ,Maharana Fateh Singh.After that there was another Maharana of Udaipur (Maharana Swaroop Singh) who built a bridge to connect Fateh Sagar Lake and Pichola Lake.
Best time for boat ride:
You can visit Fateh Sagar Lake at any time of the day from 8am to 6pm. Here you can enjoy a boat ride till 4:30pm in the evening, which we paid for.
Fare for boat ride:
There is a charge of Rs 30 for the general public just to enter the lake area, For Motor boat Ride it’s Rs 200 for adults and for child Rs 100. For a Speed Boat ride it’s Rs 200 per person for a 30 minutes trip.

3. Boat ride at Dudh talai
About Dudh talai Lake:
Dudh Talai Lake means “River of Milk”. This lake was created in 1995 by the city council of Udaipur. This is the smallest lake but it’s very near to Lake Pichola. You can come here during sunrise and sunset to enjoy the boat ride and view here.
What else one can do apart from boat ride here:
Apart from boat ride ,you can enjoy many other things like horse and camel riding, & enjoy traditional Rajasthani food here with the amazing view of the lake.
There is also a garden named Deendayal Upadhyay park, which is the first garden musical fountain of Rajasthan & here you can enjoy the lights and music show. This is near Manikya Lal Verma Garden, which is another must visit place of dudh talai lake.
Apart from this, you can see other things nearby like Manikya Lal Verma Garden,The Ropeway, Shri Niwas palace, Fateh prakash palace, Watchtower, Rang sagar etc.
Timings of Dudh Talai Musical Garden:
This garden remains open throughout the week and the timing of its gate opening is from 9am to 10 pm. The timing of the musical fountain is 7pm in summer and 6:30pm in winter.
Entry fees of Dudh Talai Musical Garden:
For Indian adults is Rs 20 for children is Rs10, and for foreigner tourists is Rs 30 for each person.
